Our Policies
Ordering
For your convenience we offer several methods of ordering.
- Use our Web site. For quickest delivery, simply select items to place in your cart, and check out. That?s all there is to it. Your order is secure.
- Call us. Please use our toll-free order line at (800) 613-9323.
- Send a fax. Use our fax line, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at (512) 323-0194.
- Note when ordering from within Texas. We regret to inform you that we do not accept orders of less than $1,000 from within the state of Texas. Texas law requires us to charge sales tax on all orders of less than $1,000 from within the state. Because we work on small margins in order to keep our prices low, the expenses associated with collecting and filing sales taxes are prohibitive. Again, our apologies.
- We do not ship outside the United States and its territories.
Order Number and Confirmation Email
When your order is placed, an email including your Order Number and a confirmation of each item and price is automatically sent to you. Once this Order Number is issued, we've agreed to provide the specified items at the specified prices, once payment has been received and processed.
Payment
You may pay using Visa and MasterCard, postal money orders, cashiers checks, and personal check.
- Credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Most credit card orders will ship within 48 to 72 hours of receipt of order. For your security, we only ship to the billing address of your credit card account. Our servers are guaranteed secure. Your information is strictly confidential.
- U.S. Postal money orders and cashiers checks. When payment is by U.S. Postal money order or bank cashiers check, we hold your order for 10 business days until payment clears our bank. Please make checks payable to The Gold Coin Store.
- Personal checks. When payment is by personal check, we hold your order for 10 business days until payment clears our bank. Please make checks payable to The Gold Coin Store.
- If paying by any method but credit card, please mail payment within 48 hours to:

Shipping
Once payment clears, we ship your order via USPS Registered Mail, insured for its full value. We only deliver where the US Post Office delivers. For your security, if you pay by credit card we will ship only to your card billing address. Shipping charge is $20 for orders of $500 or less and $25 for orders over $500.
Our packages are wrapped in plain brown paper with the return address stating simply T.G.C.S. for your protection. You must sign for the package. The postman will not simply leave it by your door.
Returns
We want you to be completely happy with every purchase from The Gold Coin Store. We offer a 14-day return privilege for replacement only. If you're not satisfied with your coin for any reason, just return it within 14 days in exactly the same condition in which you received it, and we will gladly replace it. Because prices for coins fluctuate directly with the gold and silver markets, sometimes dramatically, we cannot offer refunds.
